Dubtec is a record label founded in 2024 by DJ and producer Brad Chapman — better known as Audio K9.

After more than a decade in the music scene, Brad launched Dubtec with a simple mission: to create an innovative, inclusive space within the house, dance and electronic music scene that puts new and emerging talent front and centre.

With a background that blends years of real-world experience with a degree in Electronic Music and Music Industry Business, Brad brings both passion and professionalism to the table. Inspired by leading labels and communities like Toolroom, Defected, and Solid Grooves, Dubtec is about building something fresh - a brand grounded in quality music, community, and collaboration.

Dubtec Records

Dubtec Records is a multi-genre dance music record label that focuses on the following genre(s):

House
Tech House
Minimal
Deep Tech
Speed Garage

While most labels (especially smaller independent labels) focus on one particular genre, Dubtec Records releases a broader selection of dance music genres. We want to be diverse and adaptable to the forever changing music industry. With that being said, Dubtec Records focuses on the underground side of each of these genres, going mainstream isn't the goal for Dubtec Records at this stage.

Dubtec Radio

Dubtec Radio ceased broadcasting live in January 2026, although this is a temporary measure whilst resources are allocated towards other areas of Dubtec, at this time there is no date on when it'll return, we are aiming for a spring/summer 2026 re-launch of the radio with it completely revamped, possibly in another format. We are not accepting any new resident DJs until we have a re-launch date set in stone.

Dubtec Events

Dubtec Events is set to launch it's first show on the south-coast of the United Kingdom sometime in 2026. We are open to collaborate with other brands and promoters that share our creative vision to create unforgettable experiences. We hope to launch something that can give regular opportunities to local talent.
