Dubtec is a record label founded in 2024 by DJ and producer Brad Chapman — better known as Audio K9.
After more than a decade in the music scene, Brad launched Dubtec with a simple mission: to create an innovative, inclusive space within the house, dance and electronic music scene that puts new and emerging talent front and centre.
With a background that blends years of real-world experience with a degree in Electronic Music and Music Industry Business, Brad brings both passion and professionalism to the table. Inspired by leading labels and communities like Toolroom, Defected, and Solid Grooves, Dubtec is about building something fresh - a brand grounded in quality music, community, and collaboration.

Dubtec Records is a multi-genre electronic dance music label dedicated to showcasing forward-thinking underground sounds. Our catalogue spans House, Tech House, Minimal, Deep Tech, Speed Garage, Techno, and Electronic, reflecting the diverse and evolving nature of modern electronic music.
Unlike many independent labels that focus on a single style, Dubtec Records embraces versatility while maintaining a clear identity rooted in underground culture. Our priority is not mainstream recognition, but supporting authentic music, emerging artists, and productions that resonate within the underground dance community.

Dubtec Radio
Dubtec Radio paused live broadcasting in January 2026 as resources are being focused on developing other areas of the Dubtec brand.
While there is no confirmed return date for live broadcasts, Dubtec Radio is relaunching in a new format this summer.
Dubtec Radio: The Vault show will be uploaded monthly to SoundCloud and available to stream on this website, with residents appearing on rotation.

We are also open to hearing from individuals interested in assisting with future live broadcasting (experience in online radio is preferred).

Dubtec Events
Dubtec Events is a collaborative event platform. We are interested in hearing from promoters who wish to collaborate on putting on local events.

As part of its first collaborations, Dubtec Radio recently partnered with T.E.C.H (The EDM Collaboration Hub) for an event in Bristol.
The multi-genre club night was a fantastic night and we are hoping to put another similar event on in the near future.

Looking ahead, Dubtec Events aims to launch its own underground dance music shows on the South Coast of the United Kingdom, creating high-quality experiences and opportunities for emerging and local talent. We are also open to collaborations with brands, collectives, and promoters who share our creative vision and passion for electronic music culture.
