Before applying, please read the requirements below!

Genres:

We are primarily an underground house music station. We allow some commercial tracks to be used in shows, but we don't allow pop/chart remixes or anything cheesy. Listen to our station on a Friday or Saturday evening to understand what our residents play.

We accept HOUSE, TECH HOUSE, MINIMAL, DEEP TECH, ELECTRONIC, UKG, and SPEED GARAGE.

Residency Applications:

If applying for the residency position, we expect residents to commit to their weekly, fortnightly, or monthly slot. We put a lot of time and effort into running the station, and all we ask is that you commit to your slot.

You will be informed of all your upcoming slots in advance. If you miss two consecutive slots without any prior contact, you'll be removed from the residency. We accept that life happens, so if you contact us prior to your show to explain your absence, then we can give you more leeway. Currently, shows are pre-recorded, but we will be trialing live shows soon (this will be an option, not an obligation).

Guest Mix Submissions:

If you aren't ready to commit to a residency, you can submit a guest mix, and we can put you in a guest mix slot. The rules regarding allowed genres still apply to guest mix shows.

Successful Applicants:

If your application is successful, we will contact you at radio@dubtecrecords.com. Please check your spam folders. We require successful residency applicants to submit a "press photo" (see residents page for examples) or a logo to use on the site and social media. We will set you up on our Radio Cult system, which allows you to upload mixes. Instructions on how to do this will be sent out in your onboarding email. Please note that this position is voluntary. We do not charge DJs for airtime like other stations.
